This 1960 ES-345 in sunburst finish has had quite the life. This guitar at some point was converted to left handed. It has since been returned and repaired. Below is a synopsis of the repairs according to our guitar technician:
- Repaired top horn and side input jack. Touchup from a past strap button and pickguard as well as side dots on the other side of the fingerboard.
- Fully rewired with original braided wire and 4x original pots with caps, switch is period correct and switch tip original.
- Two original pafs. The bridge position decal has fallen off as well as having a patched lead as it was shortened.
- Crazyparts aged gold abr1 and a set of 70s aged gold grovers are installed.
- A few screws and washers are replaced. There has also been a bigsby installed at some point.
- The varitone switch dates to 1964, and the choke is missing under the bridge pickup.
