Notes | This guitar has a neck heel repair that's stable and functional, but poorly executed. The repair is very visible. The damage was extensive, reaching into the body. The instrument plays well and sounds good. Tuners are changed to correct repros, with no alteration to the headstock. The pickup, pickup cover, pickguard, electronics cover are original. Control knobs are replacements. Pots are replaced, as is the tone capacitor. Tailpiece is a period correct, lightweight Pigtail Music repro. Bridge studs are replaced as well. There is non of the common bridge post lean issue often found on pre-1957 Juniors. Original frets have very little wear and are fully usable. |
